Fractional Leadership

Background

Many small beauty brands often rush to launch products and approach retailers without ensuring the basics are in place. Key elements such as understanding their core consumer, pricing products appropriately, and having a clear distribution strategy are often overlooked. For most small businesses, investing in experienced executives early on can be financially prohibitive, as C-suite salaries can quickly deplete working capital, diverting funds from crucial areas. That's where fractional leadership comes in, offering access to high-level expertise and strategic guidance on a part-time basis, allowing brands to build a solid foundation without the financial burden of full-time executive salaries.

What is Fractional leadership

As a fractional CEO/COO I offer companies access to executive-level expertise and strategic leadership on a part-time basis, providing cost-effective solutions for brands needing high-level guidance without the expense of a full-time hire. This flexibility allows brands to leverage my experience and connections to drive growth, manage transitions, and solve complex challenges without the burden of a full time C-Suite salary.

My Approach

As a fractional CEO/COO I take on just 1 or 2 complementary roles at any one time, this ensures effective leadership and strategic impact. Typically, this includes but is not limited to:


1. Strategic Planning: Developing and guiding the company's strategic vision and growth plans.

2. Leadership and Management: Providing leadership to the executive team and ensuring effective management practices.

3. Operational Oversight: Overseeing business operations to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

4. Financial Management: Ensuring financial health by managing budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation.

5. Stakeholder Communication: Maintaining clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including investors, board members, and employees.


By concentrating on these core areas, I am able to provide impactful and flexible leadership. I am open to taking on fixed-term roles to support brands in establishing structure and process, after which I can revert to consulting on an advisory basis. This approach ensures that businesses receive the strategic guidance they need to build a strong foundation while maintaining the option for ongoing support as needed.
